The PCL family of companies is pleased to announce that its chairman, and former president and CEO, Paul Douglas, has been named to the Alberta Business Hall of Fame, sponsored by Junior Achievement. The announcement was made in front of the Junior Achievement Business Wall of Fame in Manulife Place, in downtown Edmonton.

Junior Achievement laureates are chosen for their outstanding achievements in free enterprise and their dedication to community service in ways that inspire all young Albertans.
“I am extremely honoured to be chosen as a laureate and named to the Alberta Business Hall of Fame,” said Douglas. “Being recognized for all of the successful work PCL has done during my career with this amazing construction company is truly fulfilling.”
Douglas is the most recent honouree from PCL to receive this award; other company recipients include Ross Grieve (2007) and the late Bob Stollery (1990) and John and George Poole (1980).

The Alberta Business Hall of Fame was established in 1980 by Junior Achievement of Northern Alberta and Northwest Territories.

A presentation gala and induction ceremony will be held in honour of Douglas and the other 2017 inductees on May 3, 2017, in Edmonton.
